- Hardness: 150 - 250 HB (as-rolled condition)
Heat Treatment
- Hardening: Can be heat treated to improve hardness by quenching in oil or water after heating to around 800-850°C.
- Tempering: Followed by tempering at 500-600°C to enhance toughness.
